At Florence Crittenton High School, we are deeply committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for all members of our community. Our Title IX policy reflects this commitment and outlines our approach to preventing and addressing discrimination and harassment.
Florence Crittenton High School does not condone or tolerate discrimination or harassment based on parenting status, pregnancy, or any protected class. This prohibition extends to all aspects of our school life, including admission processes and employment practices. We actively strive to create learning and working environments that are truly affirming and inclusive for everyone.
Through rigorous enforcement of this policy and associated regulations, we aim to prevent and correct any discriminatory behavior. Our goal is to break historical patterns of inequity and create positive change by design, not by accident. This policy protects individuals from discrimination based on sex, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, age, disability, and other protected characteristics.
Florence Crittenton supports breastfeeding and facilitates this important time for students and their children. High School students are able to breastfeed their children at a designated location in the ECEC. Additionally, the high school offers designation lactation locations for students who need a private location to express breastmilk. See more details about our flexible attendance policies to support breastfeeding in the section focused on attendance procedures.
If you have a Title IX concern or wish to report an incident, we encourage you to reach out to our Title IX Coordinator, Josh Howard. He will guide you through the reporting and resolution process, ensuring that your concern is treated with confidentiality and respect.

If you have any questions about this policy or how it is implemented, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Title IX Coordinator or school administration.
