The DPS Black Family Advisory Council is kicking off the school year with an inaugural Black Excellence Community Celebration. The event is an opportunity to come together and celebrate Black Excellence in our kids. Families attending the event will receive free backpacks filled with school supplies (while supplies last). Join DPS families at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9 at the Central Park Pavilion at 9201 M.L.K. Blvd. For more information, email dps.bfac@gmail.com.
El Consejo Asesor de Familias Negras de DPS está dando inicio al año escolar con una Celebración Comunitaria de Excelencia Negra inaugural. El evento es una oportunidad para unirnos y celebrar la excelencia negra en nuestros niños. Las familias que asistan al evento recibirán mochilas gratis llenas de útiles escolares (hasta agotar existencias).
